Thematic learning is an intervention/teaching method in which emphasis is placed upon choosing a specific theme for presenting one or many concepts. The therapist may use the given theme to present information and activities in many different ways. The therapist often uses age appropriate books with a corresponding theme, but will also integrate movement, writing, crafts, and/or sensory awareness activities.
