Children require a well-developed sight word vocabulary for automatic word recognition. Word recognition is the ability to recognize written words correctly and without effort.
Roll a die. Say the words that start with that letter. Next, color the pictures.
A compound word is made when two words are joined to make a new word. Color all the petals purple that form a compound word with the word in the center. Color the petals pink that do not make a compound word with the word in the center.
