Cooking with children is truly a hands-on learning experience that nurtures their independence, creativity, problem solving skills, academic knowledge, language development, sensory discrimination, and fine motor skills.
Meal planning includes making a list of what will be eaten for each meal over a period of time. It can include making a grocery shopping list, budgeting, reading a recipe, using a calendar. Meal planning can foster healthy eating habits.
